2020 F-250 features, options, and capability
In all, there are three engines available for the 2020 Ford F-250 each offering their own fuel option. You have a gas option with the 7.3-liter V8 that provides up to 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The diesel option is a 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8 that provides up to 475 horsepower and an astounding 1,050 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, you have the 6.2-liter V8 engine that is a flex-fuel gas powerplant with up to 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque.
The F-250 is the least capable of the Super Duty models, but it is still extremely impressive, far outpacing what the F-150 has to offer. When properly equipped, the F-250 can tow up to 22,800 pounds, and conventionally it can tow up to 20,000 pounds. What about the payload capacity? In the bed, when properly equipped, you can carry up to 4,260 pounds.
