Ford F-150 Lightning Design and Performance
The Ford F-150 Lightning is expected to deliver a targeted 563 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque on the streets of High River, the most torque of any F-150 we’ve seen before. The standard 4x4 F-150 Lightning supports up to 10,000 pounds of towing and 2,000 pounds of payload.
Drivers will be able to power the F-150 Lightning at home or while on the go. The F-150 Lightning includes an 80-amp charge station to make charging the vehicle at home simple. For each hour of charge, the F-150 Lightning adds an average 48 km of range. The F-150 Lightning can charge from 15 to 100 percent in approximately 8 hours.
There is a substantially sized front trunk beneath the hood for easy storage. The lockable and secure frunk offers 400 litres of volume and 400 pounds of payload. Additionally, the frunk is a water-resistant space and includes two USB chargers and four electrical outlets, making for an easy mobile workstation.
